Thisprettysilkpilloweaseseyestrainwithsoothingdarknessandtherefreshingscentoflavender.Flaxseedsgivethepillowalongshelflifeandprovideasoft,fluidfeel.Ifyoucannotfindflaxseedsatyourhealthfoodstore,substituteshortgrainriceinstead.Useoldorthriftstorescarvesasaninexpensivesourceofsilk.

Sewthetwopiecesofsilktogether(insideout)witha5/8-inchseam.Leavea1-inchopeningononeside.Thenturnthepillowright-sideout.Mixtogethertheflaxseedsandlavenderflowersandfillthepillowusingasmallfunnel.Stitchtheopeningclosedbyhand.Thenliedown,placethepillowoveryoureyesforatleast10minutes,andrelax.
